Larry Boy, << Bear Market >> I suspect it will be the likes of something many of these 'young pups' have never seen. It scares the you know what out of me! No where to hide. Even my oil is being crushed, along with some gold and platinum I've picked up lately. I thought my bond mutual fund would rally, but it's down also. Reviewing it's investments, I found money had been moved to foreign markets. The idiots! Just dumped about 60% there. Larry

What i was trying to say it is just possible that alyd will come thru on all expectations but still not sail up in a gloomy BEAR mkt. Yes, that's also what I've been trying to say -- short term. It's just a physical impossibility for a stock to go up unless people are buying it! Who is buying any Y2K stock except the true believers like us? I do agree with Tech Master that October 1 is the first major Y2K milestone. Let's be clear: code must be in production by then for certain industries. Any Y2K related failures will be very very hard to keep quiet if people, for example, don't get their insurance policies to review on time. I think we'll see some major media coverage by mid to late September. Something has to dominate the news, and people will be sick and tired of Monica and terrorism. - Jeff
