For what its worth, today's minuscule volume on a down day, may be considered as positive. Any guidance, on how the next quarter's earnings are shaping up to be?

regards to all,
-/Sonny.

btw: anyone here likes IFMX at this 52-week low price of ~ 4 ?

Actually, I feel pretty good at many of the bargains this market is affording me in quality small and mid cap companies. This whole market meltdown phenomenum is more hysteria than "relative" facts. I agree the Chicken Littles are having themselves a good week, but it won't last. Small and mid caps will be the Streets salvation, ironically, since all the big money coming out of the bloated large caps will have to generate better returns than bonds or cash. As to the world economies, Russia is a non-economic event except for a few banks and the German government. They don't trade with anyone in the world except Eastern Europe. Japan and China are just fine financially and will work out their economic challenges "their" way, not ours. We seem to have a problem when we can't dictate to every country? Venezuela is an isolated situation related to oil, which is 70% of their economy. Brazil is a very wealthy country will brilliant economic minds in the government. Peru and Chile are booming, so they are conveniently forgotten by the doomsdayers. Mexico is an extension of the US, and we've seen our governments commitment to assist them. Enough rambling. Have a drink on me as we count our gains over the next several weeks. Beware the Ides of OCTOBER........
