Hi Garry,

Well, I can tell you that it wasn't too pretty out on the golf course today either! I hadn't hit a ball since July 19 but it felt like that was July 19, 1965!! Oh well, hopefully I'll have a sustained rally tomorrow! (Or, was the last few holes in my back 9 just a dead cat bounce ??). :-) :-)

Since there has been NO press release at this time by TKE/FST/DAL/LEY that Apache has elected to earn (or to not earn) more acreage, I can only assume that Apache has not yet elected. That would be consistent with Apache having been granted an extension until after the land sales.

If the sisters have granted an extension to Apache to make the election, such would not (IMHO) be a material event requiring a press release. But, any Apache election (positive or negative) would probably be deemed material to at least some of the sisters and would probably require an announcement by those companies. So, I conclude, rightly or wrongly, that Apache has an extension and have not yet elected.

Later,
