CBS reporting Yeltsin signed a post-dated letter of resignation, effective after Clinton's visit. No one has been able to confirm, though, and Kremlin denying it.

Have to admit I've only been able to follow things sporadically today--- there was a rumor he had resigned but that the Kremlin is denying it. They've got themselves a mess over there and we're feeling it.
