Bald Man,

My predictions are intraday below 7,000 closing below 7,300 sometime in September ...

My definition of a bear market would include an extended period of time where highs and lows just keep declining. If we are really entering a bear market wouldn't this be just the beginning or do you think we will correct and stabilize. Maybe the view from Mars is clearer than from here.<G>

Bald Man,

I have no idea what level DOW will go, never tried to play that angle.

The number one indicator today is the yen. It is at 142ish right now and very puzzling. Like I posted earlier, the market is way oversold today on Russia news while it is way overvalued and have not taken upcoming news from Asia into consideration.

Investor sentiments have been shaken.

It will not take much to drive the market down again, on days more miserable than today. Once the herd has turned, it is difficult to turn them back. When Japan, Korea, China, HK all sound as hopeless as Russia today, then I think it is the bottom and time to jump in.

My 2 cents.
