I do know that Activision is headed in the right direction. There have recently been many changes internally, most of which are very good. The company is acquiring numerous ventures both domestically and overseas. It is positioning itself quite well for the years ahead. I have personally worked on Pitfall 3D (as a programmer) for 14 months during my reign there. I have since moved on and much has changed, but I keep in touch with many friends at the company (who have options) and they are very pleased with the companys health.
I don't know EXACTLY what prompted the decline today, but I do know that we will see an upward trend very soon.
I'm sorry that I don't have any hard numbers, but I haven't been keeping that close of an eye on the company for the past few months. Activision isn't going anywhere--- they are going to attempt to be the next EA. Only time will tell--- Until then, I find my investment with the company to be a wise one, however every individual investor must do their own DD.
