Dj, I'm not sure that we didn't say the same thing, tho I may have been more tongue in cheek. What if Yeltsin was a criminal with a room temp iq in the best of times, or a figurehead who let his cronies loose on the treasury in the worst. Then we realize that the nucs were for sale for years, pending imf/us/g7/kohl payments. The end result was economic failure and collapse. How does Lebed materially differ, we found out from his brief stint as pm that he nearly verged on the competent. In the end all see that mother russia is too big to be influenced and we save our $ to prop up countries, where it can do us some good, such as brazil. The above offered as good faith answer to the fact that russia has already failed, its really too big to notice. Best. rdk
