Black Monday became Black Thursday

And wait until you see the Nikkei tonight. Someone was jokingly referring to a Nikkei at 11,000 on CNBC. I wouldn't joke about that!

There was a brief bounce about 3:17 in stocks like MSFT with NOVL weakly followed the trend but then an end of the day down hill free fall.

Nobody wants to bet on the Nikkei overnight. I hope Clinton (I keep wanting to call him Nixon) is on the telephone to the Japanese Prime Minister tonight because they have to mount a market defense very very soon or lose it.

===========================

Incidentally if NOVL breaks 10 tomorrow I might consider buying on the dip. Buying options. Anyone care to call up Schmidt and recommend they do what Intel and IBM did last October --- intervene in the market more massively in buying back their stock and then leak it to the press?
