4:58PM EDTI used to work at Tellabs and still have friends there in management. Just as a point of reference I have been in Tellabs stock now for over 10 years and am still long. I talked to a friend there earlier today about this situation as I plan to vote against the deal. He says while he is not privy to the details he does know that the board has put forward a best and final substantially below the one to one ratio originally put forward. He further states that Birck is under alot of pressure to walk away if CIEN rejects it. Thats all he knows.

By the way this is my first time on this board and I must say the overall tone here seems to be a combination disinformation, panic, fear and anger. I hope we can stick to facts and keep the emotions and disinformation out of here.
