Mark,

Don't like your current tone. One I've heard before. I'm not a psychologist, but to pursue without wavering, one's loved vocation, is the source of true happiness. Seems I can talk as I seem to have the best of both worlds.

Love the family, auto racing, and business/stocks. It is near impossible for me to engage in all three successfully so auto racing is on hold. Business/stocks take up 2/3 of my waking hours as this takes care of the family. I have purposely chosen to "partition" my life. Work and trade like mad now, and the family gets me 100% 6 years hence (millionare or not). The question may come down to the "morality" of trading as applied to wether or not one should do it full-time as opposed to "actually building something" doing something else. I don't think time frame devalues short-term trading in anyway.

Hope you find a happy balance. I think what you know in TA is worth enough to financially supplement your trading. I am going somewhere I shouldn't..... Rashid

PS. Hope you feel no obligation to anyone on SI. You are not theirs.

I put the knife-catching gloves on and loaded up on SEEK and EGRP today.....prepared to hold them both for a spell.

I have cut back on the daytrading for the last week or so.....work has been busy.....still holding a massive CFON short.

Mark, You sound bummed... as bummed as I feel. It seems this mkt has made all of us (or some) sit back and think about our priorities. I know in my case the reason is due to this "effing" market. Today, I decided to rid myself of this ball & chain called a Quotrex which has done me no good. Why, because I'm mental as I refused to use stop-losses to limit those effing losses. Now enough of this shit, lets snap out of it, get back to work and make some money before I spill my guts, drink a bottle of gin and slit my wrist.

God bless all of us.
bazan

BTW - What do you think about AFCI, IMIC, VVUS, RADAF? These are my pieces of shit. Please don't go..Shane, I mean Mark, please don't go.

tatrader can you or rashid give me some advice please
i am not asking anyone to believe what i am posting
i am just looking for advice if my post is true
court orders have been issued to jboxford case#a380415,
they must cover 2.1 million shares of aznt on open market
starting monday, was supposed to be friday, they filed a one day extension till monday, friday after market closed they phoned aznt to make a deal, aznt prez mike sylver said fu cover, also believe knight must cover 500k shares and wein a nice amount also, dtc is frozen due to a144 legend stock which fraudently had legend removed and entered free trading float by a. mann of 1st concord of mexico, if this is true and jbox signs on as mm monday,
how high could aznt go, what is a good exit point and a reentry point after pullback, i wish to hold long term, but selling high is my first objective, do the charts give some idea of price targets if my info about jboxford is correct, also float is now 700k shares,
they need 2.6 mil shares plus, but they must come from 700k within frozen dtc not just shares but they need shares with certs.
thank you in advance
know you dont do politics, just looking for guidance if it is true
jesse

hey Mark! God, its funny listening to you and Skane echoing whats happening in my life as well.. I went to lunch with a few folks I used to work with and they couldnt believe I had to have my quotrek at the table.. Imagin what they thought when I had to get up to use the payphone when AMD hit my target of 14 3/4?

For what its worth ill tell you what im doing these days to keep my life in focus. Each morning I wake up I spend about and hour or 2 catching up with cnbc/bloomberg, and planning an attack for the day. At about 8:45 I go for a 2 mile walk and continue to speculate on what will take place during the trading day. Also, 2-3 times a week I hit the woods and go on long hikes. No quotrek, no laptop.. just dead silence. The benefits to your health are one thing but it also forces you to be alone and take time to laugh at what crazy things we choose to do to make money.

Hope this helps. A few months back It reached a breaking point and thi s seems to have squelched out all the nonsense and anxiety that takes over.

any thoughts on AMD technically? Also, im looking at IFCI once again.. Who would have thought dow 8000 so fast??? man oh man..

enjoy the rest of the weekend folks! Monday starts the madness.. we need a bounce off this 8000.. if we fall below and stick, im pulling to the sidelines until after labor day.
