Jim, the point is that AMD has lost mucho revenue if they have to price against Celery and not PII...revenue that will never be made up. more losses for Q3 and one big question mark for Q4. The market still perceives AMD chips as a knock-off of Intel chips.

by the way, AMD sold off heavily at the end of the market today on heavy volume and is at 52-week low. hmmmmm....

Please remember that K6-2 must be used with 512K external cache where Celeron does not. AMD must discount K6-2 by the cost of the external cache to compete with Celeron...
