Your are right. Amazon is doing better than many of the other inet stocks - the ones that don't have the halo effect of being one of the darlings of Wall Street. From that perspective, both YHOO and Amazon have not been that great of short candidates - at least not yet. With the small investor growing increasingly nervous who's to say what the rest of the story will be. Time to look at all opportunities for shorting and cautious profiting from selling puts/going long.
