It is, by definition, impossible for "ALL currencies" to decline at the same time.

Unless.... we go back to the days of gold & silver coins, or barter or ?

Impossible? Synchronized global inflation can cause ALL currencies to decline simultaneously, in real terms. Only in relation to each other, without an external reference point, would your assertion be true.
