John,

There is no question that this restructuring is fully consistent with a break up. Nonetheless, my read is that Karmazin is in no hurry to sell. He is setting this up to sell from strength. And I think he will but, its not in the cards for now.

What an amazing day. To me, other than the cost cutting, this is really the same company with a different look. The same elements still generate revenues. But, perception is reality. What would CBS have done today in an up market?

John,
Re: the bet. (Hmmm...looking for a way out? LOL) CBS will still be broadcasting football (IMHO), even if they have set up the company to sell it off (maybe).
My call would be we are still on since CBS is still in the same businesses it was.

Regards,
Dan
