David - Even IF JMAR's XRL is a success, there will still be other methods used in making chips. There are a number of technologies being investigated - EUV, ion beam, scalpel and others. What it comes down to in the end is: what process is most cost effective as well as successful in doing the job. We still have to wait a few years to see what that will be, but I think it's safe to say there will always be competition.

Another consideration of the XRL delays is that the longer it takes to achieve it, the less value it may have. If other companies make strides in the next couple of years XRL could be short lived or unwanted.

P. S. On the new web page, maybe the web developers didn't get paid and it timed out.
