THIS MESSAGE IS POSTED IN AN ATTEMPT TO ALLEVIATE THE SITUATION AROUND OUR FAVOURITE STOCK, WESTREND NATUARAL GAS (wrn). THE VANCOUVER EXCHANGE HAS NEITHER APPROVED NOR DISAPPROVED OF THIS POST. Leigh: I have put your name in for one of the positions available at Macdonalds here in Winnipeg. Your duties would revolve around PUBLIC RELATIONS which would include writing positive blurbs on Macdonald products, even if they leave a bad taste in the consumer's mouth. You would be expected to relieve the consumer's anxiety when they find that there are smaller pieces of cheese on the cheeseburgers (necessary as the Company is cutting back on expenses), only 8 nuggets in the 9-nugget package (explanations that two are actually joined together when they really aren't.... like "mergers"!), etc. Your experience and prior examples of your digging up the facts were added to your resume... I think you're in!! Radarluv: Your sense of humour should stand you in an excellent position to jump into the Ronald Macdonald clown outfit. This position will allow you to enjoy the fresh air here in Winnipeg as you will be expected to stand on the boulevard waving to passing vehicles and tempting them in to the Macdonalds lot to buy WRN (oops.. I meant Big Macs!). You will also be required to allow the little children to sit on you knee which will have the parents so excited about seeing them having a good time that they (the parents) will buy additional shares (oops... I meant Kiddie Bags!). Your sense of humour will be appreciated here... I think you're in!! Me? I've applied for the Manager position. I think my background in accounting will be a positive thing when my resume is reviewed. I have suggested that Macdonalds could be bigger and better if we bought the rights to Wendy's square hamburgers and then talk to Burger King abount buying square hamburgers from Macdonalds at half the price that we paid for them. It seems to be a good idea... other comapnaies are doing the same kind of flips....for example... hmmm ..what was the name of that company....oh, yes...Westrend!! Oops... just noticed the name of another applicant for manager.....a Mr Mark Roberts....geez... I guess I'll have to be resigned to playing golf with all the money I've made on WRN...oops....guess golf is out, too! Any jobs where you folks are? Have a good weekend!
