Can one of you guys here on Burke's forum tell me what is the
PE for the Dow 30 as a group (forward or reverse?) I am very curious
but sure as hell do not want to calculate it myself.
thanks

For all the chicken littles out there, consider this:
the Dow, SP500, and Naz are all still up on the order of
8-12% for the year. If today was Dec. 31, we could still
celebrate a pretty good year.

Joe, Good work on Altera. Remember, that is a chip co. that will never see any problems, so you can value it on 2005 estimated earnings numbers. <VBG>

Cisco has burned me in the past. But I will buy puts sooner or later. This bloated puppy is doomed. Not the co. The stock.

Still recommend long puts over short sales.
