Jerry:

Russia is more psychological than anything else... It has a relatively small economy... So, I expect the shock of the Russian economic collapse to wear off... The political ramifications of possible additional Cold War spending pressures that siphon money away from domestic growth might be what all the fuss is about...

The real concern for me is Japan... A major world economic power that could shake the economic foundations of world economies if there is a series of banking failures... They don't seem to have the leadership to make the tough choices...

The U.S. markets seem to be pulling in their horns as markets around the world get gored... There will be some tremendous buying oppty's coming... The question is when?

It's possible that we could see another 1000 points come off the Dow to the 7100 - 7200 area...
