Brian your figures are wrong.

Measuring from Jan1 (a short-term top off a depressed
consolidation period) Dow was about 8000, Naz 1600.
There are 4% lower prices around that. So we're close
to even with Jan 1, much better than Dec 20
but this is a silly measurement from Jan1. I don't know
anybody that cashes out on Jan 1 and establishes new positions.

The sky isn't falling but the floor
seems to be dropping!
