My prediction is a gap down at the open to 109, then a quick march down to 100. There is no question at ALL in my mind that amazon will be below 100 dollars at the close tomorrow. My entire portfolio is currently held in the Sep 130 puts. I have no other holdings of any kind, except a small "cash emergency" fund that I never touch.

We could see a doubling of almost all near-in-the-money puts tomorrow. S&P futures down hard at this moment, the market collapse will continue in asia tonight and bank closures around the world are just a step away.

William, don't be silly and ride your enormous AMZN profits into the ground. There's no shame in holding Amzn puts in this sort of market.

Rob S.impleton, "It looks very likely that Amazon will gap down at the open to around 117-118. I think we will easily get to 110 intra-day."

This is really a totally baseless assertion at this point, unless you know someone is going to unload a few 100k blocks at the open. I would love that sort of open, but lets keep things coherent. You know Rob, some reader might try and short at the open @ market and get screwed pretty bad. So lets keep things clean, everything is going our way, for the moment, anyway. -g-
