Enigma, IMO it's not hard to explain and I agree with Butkus. Deflationary forces as veiwed from the world's reserve currency are spiraling out of control. Look out how expensive its become in Australia, South Africa, Canada, Indonesia and Russia. And there you have just about all the world's production.

When U.S. bond yields rise the markets "safe haven" will be evaporating. So the market will have to look for another.

A light at the end of the tunnel? Consider why despite everything in Russia the European curencies were strong today and the Swiss Franc gained 1.5% against the dollar.
