Papaya King,
No. Today is a technical disaster. The XAU broke down first below a double bottom and now a umpteen year low in the bullion market. This market could turn on a dime as the specs are big league short, the bullish consensus is at historic turning point levels, the Chinese are taking on the hedge funds in Hong Kong, and gold will retain its luster as paper defaults grow, etc.
But I would wait for a complete debacle or a technical sign that gold has had it on the downside. Today's action was dreadful. The rescue ship is nowhere to be seen.
