OT..< bought by the producers and exporters, are paid for with US $$.> Free Trade The companies you are dealing with are ripping you off , just using the the few pennies the CDN dollar drop as a excuse to raise price of the goods , boils down too greed. <I could make some good $$> make a few cents less sell more Take a look at Wal Mart , just about every product in their store is or about the same price as the US. Example I always been using Penzoil in every car that I owned, before Walmart came to town I was paying $5.25 and sometimes more per quart. In the States I was paying .97-$1.15 a quart, and buying it by the case. After Wal Mart came to town the price hovering around $1.30-$1.50 a quart. Computer products in the US are the same price as they are in Canada. free trade I can buy lumber in the US add the exchange rate to the CDN dollar and still get it cheaper than I can in CANADA.Figure that one out and we sell it too them, further more they would deliver it to the house, I asked them how can you do this ,reply easy we will just phone are supplier in Canada and they will just deliver it to your address. The problem with Canadians is they want to charge more and sell less As compare to the US they want volume then the $$$$ start rolling in. They have forced all the Ma and Pop stores to get inline with the pricing, they have watched business ripping Canadians off for many years, figure this is a gold mine here. Take a look at dairy products compare prices. Enough said let the dollar drop more , gold will go up , exchange rate will be great when we sell are mine stock , make those extra $$$. Then I can afford my sailboat , and pay the extra price that the dealer is I know for a fact going to ripp me off.
