Diamond..I'll defer any advice to the options players here. I have no experience with options. Sounds as though you have your trading under control however. And remember the answer that was given by a very successful trader when asked the secret of his success:

Buy your puts and HOLD THEM. We're going alot lower over the next 3 months. This is where the max profit will be made. As I've said, it will not be a straight drop, how we get there is irrelevant, but I think you can count on a trip to DOW 4500.

As for Gold, AGAIN... the XAU should be bought AGGRESSIVELY over the next 3 days and held for YEARS.

I also believe Japan should be bought although the NIKKEI could go as low as 12000 in the S-T. Nevertheless, the Yen is rising against the dollar so your ADRS probably won't move down as much.
