CWolf... I agree 100%.. many things have been done in the name of the Lord. Including the Inquisition. The parable of the talents may apply here. One slave increased his holdings 10 fold, the other three, the other hid his under a rock.. The Lord blessed the two with an increase (which takes the willingness to risk and discernment). We all could use help with discernment, but I don't recall the parable saying the guy who only increased his talents three fold blaming macker for it!! :-)
