Pete, re: <<BTW, if after today, you're down only 2.7%, you've got to be one estute investor - congratulations!>> I'll share my secret with you, I have a big position in Dell Computer. By big, I mean more than what Bob recommendations; ie, 4% of equities.

The problem is discussing Bob's model is that we really don't know how the model is constructed. What are the variables, and how are they weighted, what are the interrelationships, etc.? All we have is the overview portion as presented in the Newsletter.

By the way, many on the thread say the model predicts the future. I think they should really be saying that the model forecasts the future. Saying predicts almost implies an estimated error of zero, whereas, a forecasting model always has an error rate. I sure would like to know how Bob's model performed when he did his regression tests. I must believe that he did these test.

In any event, I think all of Bob's followers must have their own backup strategies for exiting the market.

Your comments are always welcome.

PS: My prediction, as opposed to a forecast, is that Yeltsen will be gone within 2 to 3 weeks. Won't surprise me if Clinton's visit to Russia is called off.
