Election Results:

The PUP achieved a landslide victory over the UDP. Of the 29 representative positions available, the PUP claimed 25, the PUP 3 with one constituency being undetermined at the time of this posting (6am EST). At this time 6 boxes out of 10 had been counted with M. Espat of PUP having 671, R. Pennil of the UDP having 600 and the NABR candidate, M. Requena 6 votes. Listed below are the election results for the two major parties. The only major showing by an other candidate not affiliated with the major parties was by Independent Ismael Garcia with 272 votes in Cayo South. All other minor party
representatives, or independents had less (in most cases, much, much, less) than 70 votes.

Voter turnout was estimated at being around 90%.
