Hi Maverick:

I see you are in no mood to mince words about Mr. Dirks <g>.

Still, at these prices for CNC, he stands alone in the crowd of forecasters for at least having the direction correct. Every other analyst has been pointing the other way, and, at best, the stock struggled to go their way a couple of times over the past year, but each time it has quickly retreated.

Over the years I have come to note that it is the person who has something different to say who is sometimes on to what is really happening.

Personally I have never liked Green Tree. There has been something about their arrogance and extravagant and self indulgent compensation that sends smoke signals that I can not read. It also seems to me that their business model is aggressive, almost abusive. Last I looked, I would not like to be signed on to one of their contracts. I had the same murky feelings over the years about CUC which is currently burning such a hole in Cendant. Maybe all is well at CNC, but the stock price is telling a very different story from what you hear from Investor Relations and management.

In my experience stock price has been a lot better story teller than any company flak. Right now I am hurting big time for forgetting this lesson with another stock.

Of course in this mad market I suspect all signals are screwed up and price may mean nothing.

Floyd Russell

Good boy Maverick, Shoot the messenger because he tells you that you are wrong, and then make comments that make no sense to justify your banal opinion. you wrote....

"Believe me all is well inside CNC." Why should we believe you??
