This covers my fanny when it comes to bellyaching from people who don't like good morning/goodnight posts from overly chipper stewardesses! You are also correct that this statement happens to be untrue...and the "no whiners allowed" rule is ignored too. Again, it is a disclaimer. It gives us permission to be just as personal and friendly as we want.
