Hi Michelle,

Wow you used to live in Austin? My work takes me there a few times a year.
Ever been to Laguna Gloria...the museum?

That was a really cool city. I used to spend weekends there when I
went to college (UTA). It was a blast.

It has changed so much in the last 15 years or so. I still think it's the best
big city in Texas......but not like it used to be.

I've lived in Dallas as well...I still live in the metroplex but I'm only here
about half the year.

As you say....Dallas is nice...but it lacks the warmth, the earthiness of Austin.

Speaking of heat...I spent the summer in Colorado, Wisconsin, Michigan
etc.....when I got back....sheeeesh...I feel like a wimp all of a sudden....

Hmmmmm....well it certainly can't be me. I mean, it is extra hot, isn't it?

Later,

Stan

<<The people are really friendly but the drivers arent>>

I'm amazed - you live in Silicon Valley and you think Texas has bad drivers, or were you saying the drivers in CA are bad? I figure that Silicon Valley is such a melting pot from all over the world that we have the least experienced drivers in the world, and possibly the least patient.
