John, I agree about coke. I'm overweighted in it and have tried to do some reallocating in the last couple of years but the cap gains are a killer on stock you've had for many years. It looks like your original idea of shorting the market via coke was a good one. As you say I've had a good loss on my shares during the last weeks and expect to see even more. I just hope I don't have to sell any in the next few years. I believe if we have a major bear market, many stocks could lose about 40% of their present value. Good going with your puts; I think you'll do very well with them. dulane
