Dear John,
The crucifixion style of execution was not around at the time King David wrote the 22nd Psalm. That makes it even more interesting. All we need now is to add Daniel chapter 9 to give us the time the Messiah would be crucified way before it happened.
Daniel 9
25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks and threescroe and two weeks: the street shall be again, and the wall even in troublous times. (In Nehemiah and Ezra the account of the rebuilding of the Temple and the tremendous troubles thay had doing it)
26 And after threescore amd two weeks shall Messiah be cut of (Psalm 22) but not for Himself: and the people of the prince that shall come (70AD Romans) shall destroy the city and the sanctuary:
It is all there and very clear who He would be when He would come and how and why He would die. The fact is these were written long before they happened.
Have a great day in the Lord,
Nancy

Not so jumpin John,

No, I dont think Jesus is an all or nothing proposition. (neither do many chrisitians, by the way. There is a possibility, that any percentage of the bible, from 0 to 100% can be true. Jesus can be God, but the bible can be wrong, IMO.
