Phil, Japan is hanging onto 14,000-- barely--, as I type this. But the dollar has been falling against the yen, which is good for Apple. Thanks for the news about market share. Not the most banner week for a computer introduction in Japan, but it will sell regardless.

Jim, sounds like iMac production has been at least adequate. Retail is mostly taken care of, higher ed too, and now I assume we move to K-12, plus shipments to foreign markets. This excellent roll-out is simply another chapter in Apple's turnaround on the execution front. We shouldn't be surprised.

Dennis, great to see you back. Hope you didn't jump in too heavily right away, as there's a good chance we'll see $36 again, however briefly.

Richard, I have to side with Phil on this one. I mean, who knew there'd be a panic this week? Apple has the street's favor and thus recovers strongly. It also has pretty good earnings coming up, unlike a lot of the tech sector. I mean, it's as likely as Dell to meet numbers right now, IMO, with a better chance of a big upside surprise. I'm curious, do you get thestreet.com? Cramer thinks that tech is going to be our salvation the rest of the year. He thinks PC sales are climbing. He talks to a lot of companies and reads a lot of analyst reports. In any case, good luck with your trading.
