Baird Soule, sorry for the late response. I was busy in moving last week. LEVL is working on their low-voltage version, and the new circuit should hit market in the end of this year or early next year. LEVL is still leading the market share as far as I know.

In my opinion, the gigabit ethernet market and ADSL will be more important for the company's future than the current cash cow 100T based ethernet circuit.

LEVL, BRCM, PMCS, VTSS are all solid companies with bright future. I think the market is large enough to allow a healthy competition. I favor LEVL for its relative value. Here is the comparison of four companies from SI charts:

SYMBOL _Quarter_ _Rev__ _NetInc_ _P/S__ __MktCp
BRCM __06/30/98_ __45.2__ __7.7__ _15.9_ __2873.6
LEVL __06/28/98_ __60.4__ ___7.2__ __3.0_ ___722.3
PMCS __06/28/98_ __40.0__ __10.0__ __6.2_ ___998.6
VTSS __06/30/98_ __46.1__ __13.9__ _11.9_ __2196.9
