"If all else fails, accuse those on the other side of the political spectrum of gunning down your kids at school, then have your on-line girlfriend call him "mentally retarded". Michelle, I own three assault rifles, all fitted with 30-round clips, and one has a factory-installed bayonet - courtesy of the Russian factory at which it was produced. I also own a S&W .38 revolver. All these are completely legal, purchased new and registered properly. A couple of times a year I and a couple brothers and their wives and friends pack all our guns and pistols and shooting accessories and drive way out into the boonies and set up targets against a rock hillside. On the way we stop and buy the fixin's for a hamburger barbecue. No alchohol. It's just another form of recreation, and harms nobody. At least, we've never harmed anyone. Should we be denied the right to benignly own firearms because of city gang-bangers? Btw, one brother is a long-time employee at the County Jail (guard).
