European Recession

Steve:

Good point about Europe not being as reliant on Asia, but I think they are vulnerable to Russia. German banks have lent quite a bit of money and people will be less willing to spend and invest if there is the threat of a new government nationalizing industries and moving back to a command economy.

NSM sure seems like a bargain, but I thought that at 13 3/4 too. Will be interesting/painful to see what kind of losses they generate in the next couple of quarters. A part of me hopes that Cyrix continues to struggle as anyone willing to buy a Cyrix product probably would have given serious thought to an AMD processor.
