Barb, you call Pink's posts "ample warning?" Based on what?

"It will fall because I say so, sell your stock. Salesmen are leaving in droves (1 guy). The books are cooked, but only I know it- Whitaker and Prudential accounting teams don't have my know-how"

There are no facts about accounting shenanigans, and you are perpetuating a rumor you have no direct knowledge of. If you know something, explain the dodge, and why our analysis of the books from this board is wrong. Grommet and DOBR have layed out the numbers, and there are excellent posts going back over the past few weeks putting all this rumor mongoring in it's place.

Enjoy your win. The shorts have the day. Congradulations.

Um, how many days to cover do you think are left in MRVC? Last one to cover is a rotten egg...

Mr. WebDrone

Thanks Grommet. The point is, rumor of the pre-announcement obviously leaked. Now that we see it, the bad news is nowhere near as bad as Pink would have you think. Optical switching this year, for real. If it wasn't for real, why pre-announce a delay in shipping product?

Who competes with optical switching? Nobody, yet. It could be huge.

W'Drone

>>I think you had access to the knowledge, and chose to ignore it.<<

Well said Barbara. And I'm sure fanatic longs like Dee Jay are pretty embarrassed at the moment with their conspiracy theories and Mr. Pink. Bottom line is that the very company they own has sold them out by leaking info to the analysts. No doubt a tough lesson that every pro investor has learned the hardway at one time or another.

I saw nothing about accounting shenanigans anywhere other than in Pink's statements, which were unaccompanied by any evidence.

There is still no evidence or even an article from some credible source accusing MRV of that. If I am incorrect in this regard, by all means send me the sites for review.

As to your comments about fanatic longs chasing onto to short threads as a sign of a coming fall, I can only ask whether you use a ouija board to help you with life questions. I'm sure it is equally reliable to the kind of indicators you apparently use.
