Well the Asian markets started out weak, recovered and now have taken another dive. Who knows where this will end.

You know things are strange when Jonathan Lebed appears. There is a rumor that a General Lebed is planning a coup in Russia. Johathan....any relationship with that guy and does he spell his name this way? Jonathan....saw you on the Famh thread a couple of days ago. Strange goings on over there.

What is your son picking these days?

Just about all the gamers have had a terrible summer. We're seeing levels we never imagined in these puppies. I'm still pretty much a raving bull for buying the good ones at these levels.

I'm in good company, as Louis Navellier listed THQI as one of his top ten picks in his weekly list and said it "looks great." He's not trading it day to day, but rather has picked it as one that will have great earnings/growth in the near-term. His record in the small cap arena is pretty phenomenal.

On the overall market, he's also extremely bullish, saying that the reasons for this selloff are ridiculous and exacerbated by August markets being thin/fragile. Navellier is looking for a rally that could start as early as tomorrow, fueled by the low bond rate and the "certainty" that the Fed will have to ease rates due to short-term rates now quoted at under 5%. He also noted in his market thoughts that his stock picks are safe havens that are going to have good earnings and positive earnings revisions in Sept. (Sounds like THQI to me.)
