Moonray and others:
Is there a strong possibility that LSI will be removed from the S & P 500 Index because of the sharp contract in its market capitalization ?
I remember several years ago when LSI was added to the S & P Index the
price of LSI was in the $ 34 range. Now that it has lost nearly 2/3's
of its market value I strongly suspect that it no longer belongs in the index. I am SURMISING that market cap is one of the criteria for
inclusion in the S & P Index. If LSI is dropped from the S&P Index does it really matter to LSI shareholders given what I believe to be
a historically low level of institutional ownership of LSI ? Thanks
to everyone for your comments.
