May the force be with you... NF, go have your vacation in the hamptons and then come back for the mother of all discussions, Records Management and its relationship to Document Management. It is tooooo late to start that one ( and you are up past your permitted bedtime. Are your handlers dropping their guard? ) When you get back we can discuss ad nauseum "what is a record? what is a document? are the two ever the same?" Moving right along, we will explore the age old problem of getting people to think like records managers. The RM vendors have different approaches to all this. Perhaps one of them will pop in here. I hint, I agree with you enough to say that I believe more and more RM functionality will end up in DM, and vice versa, perhaps... Provenance has an interesting approach. YACC.
