My understanding, David, is that Lucent can plan to its heart's content but the consummation must be after the Oct. date. I may be corrected shortly but that's my understanding and I'm pretty sure it's fundamentally correct. ...Tim

Good question about the pooling of interests David. Not sure what the correct answer is. I would think that the company could answer that through their stockholder relations department. It probably has been asked several times of them already. Sorry I could not help out.
