Keeping browser settings...

Druggist wonders: "Does anyone have a clue on how to make your settings on IE "Stick" from where you left it last ?? After my wife got on here...."

I don't know about IE, but Netscape 4 has a nice feature called user profiles, which allows you to set up for more than one user, with separate settings, hot lists and the whole ball of bit-wax. We use it, and are quite happy and different. To set it up, run the "User Profile Manager" which Netscape left in the Netscape folder when it installed.... Once you do this, Netscape asks which one of you you are every time it starts....

I don't know if IE has the same kind of think, or not. I wouldn't be surprised, considering how they steal features back and forth... but I don't know. I don't use IE, both because Micro$oft sucks, and also because Netscape just plain runs better.

But if you're used to IE, I'd try looking for a similar feature.

Druggist,

* Go to "View" at the top.

* "Toolbars" will do some things you want.

* Or go to "Internet Options" at the bottom of the View screen. and play around there.

Are you sure you don't have kids playing with your settings? Mine change my settings on me all the time. <g> :o/
