Hopefully they pick up on it..I'm still here in Michigan.

MINNEAPOLIS, Aug. 28 (UPI) Progress is being reported in talks between Northwest Airlines and the Air Line Pilots Association but it was not yet clear whether it would be enough to avert an 11:01 p.m. CDT strike deadline.

Northwest's 6,200 pilots plan to walk off the job tonight unless an agreement is reached. Negotiators reportedly have reached agreement on vacation and training policies but issues like pay and job protection remain.

The first of Northwest's flight cancellations kicked in today, grounding 170 of the airline's 1,700 scheduled flights. Another 230 flights have been canceled for Saturday whether or not a strike is called.

I hate flying anyway...I'll listen in tonight like the rest of you.
