By the way, I believe they told us
that they thought they had less than 50 per-cent chance of getting
SBC, before the CSI demo. Maybe CSI convinced them.

That's good to hear. I believe there's a schedule for the CSI roadshow on the NN website but my server isn't letting me access it right now. I believe it's listed under company news and also in the most recent MainStreet edition.

If NN got SBC based on the CSI demo, it might be encouraging to see where else they're taking the show.

I spent the last 3 days in Key Largo at an investment conference and one of the guests was a senior VP at Wells Fargo, in charge of e-billing and bill-presentment development. Of all the statistics reeled off, the most impressive came as a result of a resent promotion they ran for e-banking. The VP said they had 8,000 sign-ups the first week with one day actually hitting 2,000. This is a long way down the food chain from NN, but it does indicate where the industry is headed and what's likely to happen when the banks realize they have to maximize the use of the Internet if they want to survive.

I know this is preaching to the choir, but it doesn't hurt to be reminded our optimism is backed by statistics rooted in fact. And what better source that a Wells VP speaking in real time.

T.S. Eliot once said of literary critics that they murdered to dissect. Looks as though the market's doing the same.

Bruce --

Here's the URL for the roadshow:

newbridge.com

Do you know if there's a similar show in North America?

Thanks in advance.

Pat
