What do you think of the common wisdom that it's institutional inertia that's keeping the Japanese from doing more?
I think that was exactly my point, that the common wisdom is dead wrong. I think the guys running the show over there know exactly where the bodies are buried (or where the assets went). 12000 on the Nikkei? I'm not sure if we'll see that. Depends on how aggressive they want to defend their market (see Hong Kong). I was surprised to see the close below 14000, so maybe we will get down there after all.
