Bill, I've often had that happen. I think it's much more likely to happen on NYSE and especially AMEX stocks than on NASDAQ stocks.

Anyone else having orders just sit there open and when you try to cancel it stays locked on trying to cancel.

Yes, I had that problem about a week ago on several orders.

I wonder if this means Datek is liable for executing our orders after we have sent in a cancel order command?
