Something is going on in S.Afr that no one seems to be talking about.

Jim, noticed S. Afr the last day or so myself.

Didn't mean that the market would gap up. Meant that it may TRADE as high as to fill yesterdays gap down then reverse. (8370 +/- 20 on the DOW and 1770 +/- 5 on NASD and 1060 area of SPX)

Jim, 12:30(ish) is "noonish" enough. It's a start anyway. Trin has stayed in bullish territory (<1) since... so far. Need stay above 8100 (1030 S&P) first (and it looks like we are), but if we can rally into positive territory on the Dow on this run, I'd bet it would carry to the 8300 area (1050s S&P). JMWAG, of course, based on my undisciplined TA.

It's interesting to see/hear the change of tone among the talking heads on CNBC. Even Bob Pasani, usually upbeat about everything, is sounding like he's lost all hope of the market ever going up.

Well, as I write, the Dow is positive. Tick finally is too. Rally time.

Bob
