Covered my short on SCTR because I see some pretty strong support here. Used the money to put-put CCI again. This time I'm hanging on. Drillers getting hammered AGAIN! GIFI lookin' good. DELL getting nipped...but I scared of that one. A friend's account I am managing (took him out of the market two months ago...Fidelity funds) asked me, "I don't understand. I thought you're supposed to stay in the market instead of trying to time things." "Bill, you've saved a lot of money." "Oh." I'm hoping to get a dinner out of the deal. <H>

bw, be a little gentle on your girlfriend. Too many "I told you so" can have serious repecussion (sp?) you know what I mean? You guys have no desire to combine accounts one day do you. Looks like it can be tricky to pick the accountant of the house. My wife is the accountant. I makes the money for her to keep. Maybe this formula can work too. The drillers are fine for daytrades here as they are as wilted as dried grasses that bend in any direction the wind happens to blow. Diamond, what are you talking about? When did you short SCTR? What support? Only the sucker(s) bought today at 28 1/2. What a loser. The technical damage done yesterday is taking its tolls more severely than I thought. The pharmaceutical stocks have no place to hide too. Remember what I said about the mid-small caps and how they will stand up better this time than the big caps. A few more sessions like this and a trend may even emerge. Covered my TWLB and one other put today. Look to reput UN and maybe NKE. No desire to cover AFS and KRB. The evil tower is gone.
