on rubin.... if you read what he writes, and I have had the opporunity to speak with him with regards to inner city intervention, and the EZ zones, you would know that he does not believe in unrestrained free markets at all, and took the job, because he think thhat timely intevention into world economies is the only way to smooth out the bumps in the road.... As for labels like marxist,... I suggest you get to know the person before you attach them. I am a social liberal, and an economic democrat. I think one has to have competition in the market, but that the victors cannot be allowed to define life for the rest of us.
