Want to know why? It is because people are selling their index fund.
Today will be the day we enter bear market or turn around. I'm waiting to see panic sell. I guess a lot of people are waiting too.

David, it seems to me that the institutions are selling off the high techs. All seem to be down big time today. I believe part of what we are now seeing is the markets awaiting Yeltsin's speech to be given within a few hours.

Rough week, and looking like a rough Friday. I think the market will tank at the end of the day as Money Managers won't want to be long over the weekend...to much uncertainty in the world.
